What is your warranty? : UCW offers a 7 day warranty from the date you received the product. If you run into an issue, please just send us an email and we will take care of you as soon as possible.
What sort of condition can I expect? : Unless otherwise specified, these are used items and can have scratches and/ or light dents. These sort of things do not impede the functionality of the machines, but are priced to reflect potential cosmetic issues.
How soon do you ship? : Your item will be packed and shipped within 3-5 business days of the order. This does not include estimated carrier shipping times. Once it has been dropped off at the carrier we do not have control of the speed of delivery.
What about shipping insurance? : Every package comes with $100 of prepaid shipping insurance coverage. If your order ships via USPS first class, there is no insurance. If something happens in transit, you will only refunded what you are insured for as we do not have any control over what happens to an item once it leaves our hands. You should have an option to add more if you like at checkout. If you have an issue adding insurance to an order, please let us know and we will get you pricing on additional shipping insurance. Orders are combined when possible, so please make sure you are insured correctly.
Can I use a shipping forwarding service? : We do not under any circumstances ship to forwarding services. Unfortunately the simple issue is that the sheer amount of fraudulent purchases made through those addresses makes shipping to them impossible to do safely. We value your online safety and only ship direct to the consumer.
What do I do about customs/ import duties? : International customers are responsible for all import duties and customs fees.
What is your return policy? : We accept returns within 7 days of the order being delivered. Customer is responsible for returning computers to UCW in the condition they received them in. Upon receipt of the return you will be refunded the purchase price of the item only. Shipping is not covered for returns. Returns must be started within 7 days of receipt of product. Additional money paid for shipping is non-refundable. There is a 15% restocking fee for returned items. If free shipping is chosen as the method of delivery, the customer will be responsible for return shipping in the case of a warranty return. Order cancellations also carry this restocking fee.
Additionally, once an item has been modified, updated, etc.. in any way, we can no longer cover any malfunctions you may encounter during the return period. We will do our best to help you figure out whats going on, but we cannot protect against user error.
Lastly, International customers are responsible for returning purchases at their own cost regardless of the reason. We do not pay return international shipping for any reason.
Do you do custom builds/ orders? : At this time we do not do any custom builds by request.
How do you calculate shipping prices? : We charge exact pricing for shipping. Not a penny more. Sometimes the rate quoted is inaccurate and if the price paid is too high, you will be refunded. If the price paid is too low, we cover the difference. We set our prices to be among the lowest around INCLUDING shipping. What you pay for shipping is what we pay.
What if I want more than one item? : We will do our best to get your purchase into one box, but if the item cannot be shipped safely that way we will contact you for the additional shipping costs of multiple boxes. This can happen more frequently with multiple tower purchases.
Do you have bulk purchasing rates? : Yes, but please contact us so we can get the details of your needs and quote you directly. Bulk rates are specifically a pallet of computers or more.
